American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) publishes a weekly survey of investor sentiment for the direction of the stock market. The Survey period is Thursday-Wednesday & it is published on Thursday mornings. High (above 50) & low (below 20) readings are of greater interest as those may indicate turning points; middle reading are not too important. Sentiment indicators are contrarian and one should act in opposite ways. But one should not rely on any one indicator (sentiment or otherwise). Since mid-2021, there are more substantial YBB commentaries to make these posts self-standing on social-media and other websites. The AAII Survey data are published on Thursday mornings, but the related AAII commentaries are issued only on Thursday evenings. There was a major format change for the Survey display in the opening page and there seems to be a mistake in the results displayed there. But the detail tab seems to have the correct information and I have presented that below.

According to an e-mail from AAII, there was a software error in the tabulation of this week's results, so there will be no report/update. The next Survey results will be on 1/21/21.
Following table is WITHDRAWN.
For the week ending on 1/13/21, the bullish sentiment was 100% [?], neutral 0% [?], bearish 0% [?].
As 100% of any sentiment has never happened before, I will monitor if this report is genuine or there is website presentation error again due to recent format change [as there was last week]. Survey period is Thursday-Wednesday, and I was expecting a big change due to historic events in DC, but not this.

Last Survey [1/13/21] was withdrawn due to software errors.
Compared to 2 weeks ago [1/6/21], there wasn't much change.
If there is a mismatch in dates, that is because AAII uses the end date of survey period in some places [e.g. 1/6/21 (Wednesday)] but the publish date in the table below [1/7/21 (Thursday)]. I prefer the former.
