When PB threads & posts are moved to different boards (new or old), some old links for them posted elsewhere may stop working. It seems that if entire threads are moved, old links continue to work, but if posts are moved, their links stop working. This need further testing.
But this means that reorganization of boards should be kept to a minimum. It may not be practical to go back to old posts elsewhere and fix links, and X/Twitter (free), Threads (free) etc don't allow editing of posts.
Edit/Add, 9/18/23. When individual posts are moved to existing threads, the post dates, contents and formatting carryover, but the information on the thread (title, date, author) is lost. It may be helpful to include this information about the thread via Edit. It is also helpful if the post itself has a good heading.
Edit/Add, 9/20/23. After the post-move, only the scroll-link (Right-column-click from the Thread) doesn’t work, but "Post within the Thread" and "Post-Only" links work.
