Unfortunate new developments for old M* Charts.
The old M* Chart link does open for the fund ticker in the URL but is then useless for comparison purposes. Tickers for comparison can no longer be added (previously, up to 7 fund tickers could be added). When trying to add a ticker, the Menu opens up but remains blank (previously, the fund ticker/name would appear) and nothing happens on Enter. Changing browser Pop-up permissions doesn't do anything.
Some other tabs still continue to work, including the Compare feature (so far) on the Performance, Ratings & Risk and Tax tabs.
The same issue is for the old M* Charts for TIAA REA VA and CREF VAs (R1, R2, R3 classes).
As for some old posts with M* Chart links that had multiple tickers - those still open but one cannot add tickers there either; tickers there can be deleted.

I cannot open any TIAA or CREF chart links at M* this AM. Error message is, "The report is no longer supported".

community.morningstar.com/s/question/0D53o000062ZMLOCA4/trea-vs-vgsnxyogibearbull (Customer) a few seconds ago 5/11/22 YBB @thewizard (Customer) (M*) , that is a great tip! As free/premium M* normally doesn't recognize CREF VA tickers anymore, it is good to be aware that the new M* charts do recognize those within the Compare box. This is not intuitive at all. Of course, one cannot start M* charts for CREF VAs as one used to be able to. And one cannot link to new M* charts except via posting screenshots (saved on PC or hosted on an image site). Here is an example for M* new Chart for LifeStrategy Moderate VSMGX with CREF Social Choice (Balanced) QCSCIX added from the Compare box (I use this substitution to track QCSCIX in Portfolio Visualizer). This is better than other available options - TIAA Website charts or FT charts. Image link i.ibb.co/HXpFsCd/Screenshot-2022-05-11-15-46-24.png

Update 2/12/23. New links for TIAA/CREF VA ChartsCREF VAs have classes R1 [highest ERs], R2, R3 [lowest ERs] since 4/1/15. Old single-class VAs had ERs similar to the new R2 class. TIAA has also populated the old/non-existing histories of newer classes with those for the older single-classes. TIAA T-REA remains a single class VA. Links for CREF VAs, R3 classes and T-REA. CREF Bond Market R3 QCBMIXCREF Equity Index R3 QCEQIXCREF Global Equity R3 QCGLIXCREF Growth R3 QCGRIXCREF ILB R3 QCILIXCREF Social Choice R3 QCSCIXCREF Stock R3 QCSTIXTIAA Real Estate Account (T-REA) QREARXThe Q-symbols for CREF VA classes differ only in the 5th place: R1 has R, R2 has P, R3 has I. So, the charts for R1 and R2 classes can be created from the corresponding R3 class charts by simply adjusting the Q-symbols in the URL. See the following example for the CREF Stock.
